MixPosted by busydogs.dk 2010-09-02 20:52:18 I just have to share this small film about this very charming dog... It's so nice to start the day with a big laugh. Enjoy!
ObediencePosted by busydogs.dk 2010-08-30 12:24:09 Here's a small picture...not very good, but it shows what fantastic gifts Cash got. Theo also got a bag with a lot of treats and good stúff. Thank you so much Pia Dalum Dyrehandel for all those yummie treats ...and the beautiful golden trophé. Now for sure I have to go to IKEA and shop a cupboard special for the dogs trophes Cash has got a new title, so her pedigreename is from now on: LP1 LP2 LP3 LP3DM10 SP1 Cash Next time I hope she'll get the last class 3 certificate so she become Danish Obedience Champion (DKLPCH)....and then we will go for the International class from 2011 ...or from december 2010 :-))
ObediencePosted by busydogs.dk 2010-08-29 20:58:13 I'm sitting here in front of the Laptop, and my eyes are crossing. I'm so tired, but in a good way. Tired and happy!
Today it was The Danish Championship in Obedience, and both Cash and Theo did so well! Theo ended 5th place in the International Class, and Cash won class 3! I'm so proud!
Tomorrow I'll upload a photo of Cash and her huge trophy ( The trophy which also has a small plate with the name Fuglsang's Dashing Jamie Ull i Munn 2007 engraved on Yes, Jamie won Danish Championship in class 3 in 2007, so this is the second time I have the same trophy at home for an hole year. Jubiiii
ObediencePosted by busydogs.dk 2010-08-28 14:38:32 Tomorrow it's Danish Championship in Obedience, and both Cash and Theo has qualified. Cash in class 3 and Theo in the International Class. Cash is finally over the ovulation, but she's still bleeding, so tomorrow she must wait until the last dog has been doing their program. Her heat started 9th August....and first on day 17 she begang to flirt....baaaaa...today it's the day 20, and this morning Theo wasn't interested in her anymore. Jubiiii, and as she comes in heat every 8 month, I can say peeeeeewwww for this time :-)
What about tomorrow?... well.. if the hormones behaves, and the dogs has remembered to bring their heads ...both Theo and Cash have the capacity to be in the top. I'm looking forward, that's for sure :-)
Today I got a letter from Germany, from Jake, who is a son of Theo and Ejay. He is now 6 ½ months old. Thank you Marcus for sending me photos of your gorgeous boy!
I hope to see Jake with family in October when they comes to Denmark :-)
MixPosted by busydogs.dk 2010-08-25 10:29:56 When you can't sleep you can always do some things at your computer...and believe me I really wanted to sleep last night, but Theo was so in love that he had a lot of sounds. Yes Cash is in heat, and she's today at the 17th day, and finally she is ready....no no no puppies! but I want it to be over and done with. I keeping Theo and Cash very much apart from each other...looks like a prison here, with gates on each other, and double. Well at the same time at Theo piiiiv piiiiv it blowed very much outside, and the rain gutter of my next neighbour's house had fell off, and said metallic bangsound when it hit their wall ....10 metres from my bedroom.Tried to sleep in the livingroom on the sofa, but then I get pain in my back, so back to the bedroom again.
Well I must have totally quiet for sleeping, so I took my laptop in bed and found out to make some maps in Youtube, so each dog has it's own map/document. Very smart, I think. Good way of spending the night, but not too smart when you have 8 hours of work next day, and Danish Championship around the corner (on sunday)and 3 young dogs who needs to be trained...well to tired to even drive the car, so this day will be a day off for the dogs.
So what did I do: I have oploadet Ziggey's 3 small videos, so now I can embed it to my blog :-)
I just love his elephant....look at his reaction of the click...he is so funny<3 There will come small videos from now on. This is the elephant.

MixPosted by busydogs.dk 2010-08-21 11:59:58 After 3 sleepless nights because of Cash bad stomach, obviously it was too much for my body, and Monday evening I got high fever and pain in all body. Great! The flue has now turn into pneumonia, and I'm home with a lot of medicine. This weekend was suppose to be Cash and Theos weekend with full weekend competition in the Danish Border Collie Club, what I had been looking forward to so much. Jonna and I would share a small house in the camping, and have nice time seeing all Border Collie friends from all over Denmark together with our 4 dogs. Sometimes life just doesn't go as you wish, and I have to x my fingers from here that Jonna and Tess become Obedience Champions...Go for it Jonna!
I have been a bad dogmom this week. The dogs have just come out in the garden ( thanks God for I have a big garden) and non training, and minimal walking. This morning I sat on a chair in the garden while Theo, Cash and Ziggy were playing...watching especially Ziggy. Wow he grows quickly! Ziggy's ears are growing a bit quicker then the rest of his body..hahah, and for the moment he has nice kipears (well most of the time) . I don't care how they will end, rosen, kip or erected, as long as they don't get heavy. On the photo...alf ears??
Ziggy is now 17 weeks old. He is 43cm's and his weight is 10.35kg. He is a real duracelldog, and full of energy which lasts loooong time :-) He loves to play with me and his pack. He has some few playmates, but normally other dogs doesn't interest him. He says hello to stranger dogs very polite and friendly, but then he turn his head to me and says: Mom I love you! Actually I like this thing in him. He has his few playmates, and he comes around with me without any problems everywhere, seeing so many different types of dogs everywhere, and they just don't interest him. He is just cool
....where do this idea comes from that puppies SHOULD necessary say hello to everyone they are meeting on the walk?? Where do this idea comes from that to get a socialised dog, it necessary should play with everyone they meet. Just to see IF they can get along??? OK....and what if they don't???? How many thinks about that?
How come my dogs who are raised in the spirit of : I don't believe that my dogs should or need to play , or see if they can play, with everyone they meet. How come my dogs never say grrr or showing the teeth odd others??? How come all my dogs are friendly around other dogs? How can it be.....when my dogs never been allowed to play free with all and everyone the meet???
How come that so many dogs I know who has been practising free play with others in the puppyhood, are now adult dogs who are saying grrrr and showing teeth, and can't like other dogs??
I believe that puppies should come around with the owner and see and meet as much as different dograces, and feel safe. They should say hello to calm and friendly dogs, and not wild youngsters. Get some few playmates who the dog gets along nicely with. That's it! No dog outside my dogs pack should try to dominate or try to raise my dogs....and when that happens, the damage is already there! That's bad!
Now I have Ziggy who actually shows with a very clear bodylanguage when he has no interest in another dog....so I let him choose if he wants to say hello or not....and when people wants to let their dogs go and say hello, where Ziggy ignores the other dog, I stop them, saying, no please, don't! and people looks strange at me....
This is my way of supporting Ziggy. He is a happy, calm, and very friendly little fellow around other dogs, and I intend to keep him like this! So please respect my no, when I say I don't want their dogs to be up in my pups face when he clearly shows that he doesn't want that!
